Energy distributor for the Western Slovakia
Západoslovenská distribučná, a.s. is fully owned by Západoslovenská energetika, a.s. (ZSE Group) which is a member of the German energy E.ON Group. With more than 95 years of history, the biggest energy distributor in Slovakia holds the licence for carrying out activities in the energy business in the scope of “electricity distribution”. It operates the distribution system, being subject to regulation rules under the relevant laws. As an independent legal entity, it has been active since 1 July 2007 – based on requirements of the European and Slovak laws related to the energy market liberalisation (ZSE Distribúcia, a.s., or ZSE distribúcia, a.s. until 1 January 2013).

Connection of a new supply point is a relatively simple process. Its steps are shown in the picture below.
The easiest way is to submit an online Application for connection of electricity consumption equipment to the distribution system. The Application differs depending on whether the Applicant is a household or a business/organisation.

Within 30 calendar days of receipt of your request, we will send you a draft Contract on Connection for signature.
